Are you not allowed to be absent 2 weeks before an exam or assessment due date in your school? (1 Viewer)

I heard that in some schools, you need a medical certificate if you are absent within 2 weeks of a due date of an exam or assessment otherwise they will give you a zero for all the upcoming assessments. What a dumb fucking rule, it's also correctly implying that going to school and attending classes is a waste of time since on the basis of the punishment, you gain an "unfair advantage" by staying home and studying on your own instead, highlighting the irony of these retards. If your school has this policy, I'm sorry but you're cooked (NESA doesn't enforce this let alone have any rules regarding this).

it’s been a while so I can’t remember exactly, but I’m pretty sure my school did this and yeah it was annoying ☠ again I can’t remember what hsc was like but in junior years I distinctly remember people would come to school day before or day of an assignment due date, fake feeling sick and then go home early to work on the assignment lol, I’ve probably done it, such a chore

STOP it's so ironic that i came across this thread, cause today is my athletics carnival and my parents aren't letting me skip because of fears that it will affect my assessment next week...
in year 11, i missed the thursday before the week of prelims and i was about to lose 30% in each of my subjects for that😥😥it's actually so dumb bro

We have this rule but it’s for the day before an assessment

the schools that force you to go to school are retarded, it's proven that you do better in the hsc if you skip a few days than attend everyday like a retarded drone lmfao.
