I agree with you 100% that migrants generally dont make good countries. But the ones who escape and come here, they work hard to get to the top. Ive spent my life surrounded by migrants (euros, asians, indians etc) and culturally, one thing we have in common is that drive to be successful. When you live in that culture, it is ingrained in you from a young age that the expectation is you will do better than your parents. I remember my dad telling me at 4, that I needed to be a lawyer because they made so much money. My grandfather tells me to this day, to get an education and not be a labourer like him (as I keep reminding him, I have done that). I dont see that mentality nearly as much with white Aussies.

Back then as well everyone was whining about house prices - I stayed home and saved until I got my first place 9 months after starting work. I had 3 properties by the time I turned 30. Migrants or white people didnt stop me from getting on with life - I took control.
