Finished my bachelors, spent a year doing the grad program at my workplace, then I moved to ICU and spent a year doing a transition to ICU program, then started my grad dip.If u dont mind me asking, what did u do between the time after u finished ur bachelor and before u started ur diploma
In my bachelors I had like maybe 3 exams in the whole degree?it depends on what degree u do. But for exams most likely yes unless u do something very mathy
Good luck 🩷🩷Modern History task 1 tomorrow...
they foam at the mouth to tell everyone everythingGuys opinion on school counsellors?
aaaaaaaah thank you! i was talking to the music teacher at my school, she thought it was a good song to analyse for english! as much as the music video is very cool (and analysable) my english teacher advised against it as the task is supposed to be more like an audiobook and not have any visuals.don't know the song but would be willing to contribute some tips:
- https://wmich.edu/mus-theo/courses/keys.html - the effect of key signatures, use sparingly though because this particular philosophy was used centuries ago, however it can be good back-up evidence for why something feels a certain way
- upwards motion (chords, melody, etc) gives hope, downwards gives despair
- look at time signature (likely 4/4) - driving beat or lack thereof?
- word painting? e.g. does the music reflect the words? (a good one for english I feel)
- dissonance vs consonance
I'd be happy to help but I can't guarantee how often I'll reply
edit: okay I listened to the song, probably could talk about tone colour (accompaniment) and the texture thickening, do you get to analyse the music video as well, it could be good? the pulse strengthens about halfway...then the melody jumps up an octave, adds tension, climax...the sudden thinning of texture for the final verse thing
the coda is really interesting and different, definitely talk about the contrast, word painting in "pandemonium" due to the rapid switching of instruments, coda also disrupts thhe repetitive structure of the rest of the song
there's also tritones in the piano rearrangement but they're not as obvious in original (tritones are the "devil's chord", ultimate form of dissonance)
Well there’s not really much that can be done unless my mental health just miraculously improvesDo you need help?

I think everyone in my family is having a bad day to cause the fighting and the negative attitude isn’t helping. I think I just need a break but there’s no time for a break so idk how it’s gonna go. Like idk how I’m gonna get through the year and pass year 12 if I crash out even before the hard studying happensWe are here for you.
I understand. It's hard to find solace in such a time. My best advice is to retain good sleep, honestly... If you can afford to, it's very valuable...I think everyone in my family is having a bad day to cause the fighting and the negative attitude isn’t helping. Well I have been getting good sleep. I’m just emotionally drained. I’m just finding it hard to keep on going and it’s really difficult. But I’ll be fine after exams and in the hols. But I think maybe finding another outlet that I can spend more time on might help but idkI understand. It's hard to find solace in such a time. My best advice is to retain good sleep, honestly... Take it one day at a time - When things happen, they happen. Look at where you are now and find the best way to maneuver forwards.
Again, I understand if you do not want to go onwards. Time is a boat, and we must row.
That said, would it help to go to the cinemas or do some other activity on the weekend or after school after our exams?
I like sowing and drawing. I have befriended local magpies as well. Lovely lot, when they're not aiming for my eyes.Well I have been getting good sleep. I’m just emotionally drained. Lol pigeons are so goofy. Like the way they bop their heads are funny. Trains are cool too. Like the train system is interestingI also like trains and pigeons... Ahm... Perhaps more than average folk would... And, I'll say, being able to witness things that bring me unreasonable levels of joy every day is very helpful.
I don't know. Pigeons are such gorgeous things.
I always draw during class... Perhaps a bad habit, but, ah it makes my notes much more interesting. I've been wanting to try crotchet too...Maybe I really should start vlogging.
