I don’t know too much about the question types because I’ve only done HAST once, but I recall there being a lot of data involved questions in maths. Abstract is the easiest in my opinion, you just have to find patterns and stuff. What year are you applying for?

Yall gotta stop worrying about the hast, there’s many free online resources by searching but I did the hast for year 9 entry this year (didn’t make it) but I can guarantee the ‘science’ question isn’t really science but more like method where it’s an MCQ about the process of applying a drug disinfectant or something. And all the strange terms related to science they say they don’t give the definition for but u can use context clues so it isn’t that bad. Everyone else will probably be just as stressed anyways cause when I walked out the exam room, EVERYONE was talking to their parents about being shocked to see science in the math section

Imma be real im probably not gonna try farm extracurriculars or study for the hast and edutest specifically but rather just gain general knowledge like reading as a side and doing daily math problems. Maybe a week before the test ill consider preparing but if i dont make year 10 entry i might call it quits

for the middle secondary (y8 and y9) HAST, theres science within the math section, and i applied for 1st. sydney tech, 2nd hurlstone 3rd mac fields, and i made sydney technical fyi

fr bro ppl gotta stop freaking out, science aint that bad and in the HAST it aint even real science just frickin random mcq diagrams and stuff, honestly more of what ud see in reading comprehension if there are diagrams explaining a process and u gotta answer questions off it
