I wish I did that cause isn’t it like 6 poems. Like NESA is so unfair for prescribing 12 for Plath and Hughes and the fact that my school voluntarily chose it pmo
i think so, but then theres also the movie so in retrospect id say it sorta evens out. but idk i havent touched it yet till my exam on common mod in 2 weeks :/

I’m prob not gonna really get to mod a before school starts so I’m gonn have to speed run it first few weeks so I don’t fall behind. But honestly movie is easier cause there’s no chance their gonna give a specific extract and therefore u don’t have to memorise like all 12 poems to be safe

Talking about the movie 'Bright Star', it's a 2 hours movie with a very slow progression in plot. (but that's the beauty of it + ig good cinematic shots)

I just wanted to mention this bc I thought it was funny but I tried watching it two weeks ago and I lost focus within the first 30 minutes :[
My brain just gave up and was like 'nope you can't do this. U need a break'. Could've been the movie's slow start or just how annoying ClickView had lagged captions for the audio, but I peacefully slept for like 3 hrs bc of it XD
I dreaded having to watch the rest of the movie, it literally drained me mentally with how uninteresting the events of the movie occurred.

I ended watching the rest of the movie while eating some random plant-based ice cream I found in my freezer (never tried plant-based ice cream b4 but it was actually Really Good! :p), as a way of trying to make myself enjoy watching the movie a bit more. Although the movie was intended to create an emotional connection with the audience, I felt detached. The story felt mundane.

It wasn't a 'bad' movie I would say but one that definitely didn't suit what I usually watch. 👍

Today:
- Did some Mathematics Advanced integration, hopefully I will finish tomorrow.
- Did revision on Rates of Change and Polynomials for Extension 1 Mathematics.

One question: Does anyone know whether Sequences and Series from Mathematics Advanced are needed for a good understanding of Mathematical Induction? Thank you in advance.
I feel like that it is needed however, its probably moving into 4U.

Today:
I somehow did 40 pages of mod 5 hsc questions for chemistry holiday hw

I have no clue how the teachers assort/source all of these I can't understand why we can't get the new modules as hw instead of the completed ones. That many questions and everybody would be getting above 80 in all exams.
Isn't that a bit good though? I get it would be hard for the students to distinguish themselves w/ each other in terms or rank and stuff but getting a lot of questions is good (40 pages is a crazy amount though 😦).
The teachers just want ur cohort to perform well ig.
They probably don't want to give the new module as hw if u guys haven't gone through it in class.
