Hey guys, can anyone list a couple of electives that are relatively easy to get a good WAM in for USYD (like 80+) (i’m a first year)!!
I’m doing a bachelors of psychology this year and i’m aiming on transferring to a law double degree, I heard that Usyd doesn’t rlly care about what electives I do rather just my overall WAM and I was wondering what are some easier electives I should be doing? I initially enrolled into CLAW and CRIM electives but then i was told these electives are very harshly marked and I’m worried this might jeopardise my chance in getting a good WAM.
Also if anyone was able to transfer, what WAM got you the transfer and how was that WAM achieved??
Thank you~~^^

Ones I've done and got 90+ in:
EDGU1003 (nutrition), ENGL1014 (Creative writing).

Ones I will be doing:
WRITxxxx (Writing), FMHU100x (1001 or 1002 - both are easy~ Food safety and health or something)

Other's that I would recommend:
SCIE1001 (not sure if this is in the elective table tho), HSBH1013

I didn't transfer but generally the wam requirement for anything (apply for honours, transfer, etc) is 70+, maybe even 75+. If you can get an 80+ wam in your first year, you should be safe.

Thank You soooooo much!!! One minor question but do you know anyone taking CLAW1001? I heard it’s a very hard course to excel in but I picked business law as my minor so i’m not sure if I should change it?
Best of luck to your studies and the rest of uni~~^^
