Hey! I saw your sig and i know what you mean! I have my math assesment the next morning after the second sydney show :S
    Ahhkay, thanks ^^
(That person managed to track me down anyway >>. It appears internet identities aren't as secure as I thought they were >_<).
Hey Deer, I have a small question (which may seem completely random if what I'm asking about didn't happen, in which case you should ignore me ^^). Did a member on bos called jm01 come around to you asking if you knew my real name, by any chance? (Sorry if you have no idea what I'm talking about ^^).
Ok, so I should have been doing my English work, but I got distracted and somehow got onto your deviantart page.
So I browsed around and thought "Oh. My. God..."
YOUR ART IS AMAZING. IT'S.. IT'S.. AMAZING. There's no other word to describe it.
    Gosh, you have a gift!
    hello deer,
belated thanks for the rep, and the luck :D
I've finished! well, that's what my mum thinks anyway so I'm not going to dash her hopes haha.
good luck with your work, if you aren't done yet :]
Lols, it's not that great an idea but thanks for the vote of confidence, it means a lot ^^
Yups, definitely love to swap over and stuff for feedback and the likes! Sounds like a good idea :)
Yeahh, I know what you mean about trying not to read for leisure. I brought home like 20 books from the library to read just for fun during the holidays and I ended up not even being able to touch even one of them because I was too busy reading all the stuff I had to read ><" BUT yes, when you get time (whether it be after hsc or whatever) definitely look into God of Small Things. It is indeed a powerful book. And the writing.. ah! It's like.. music!
Yups, I have facebook ^^ I'll PM you it (= (Though I barely ever go on it ><" Only during hols when I'm bored and stuff ><").
Oh wow!! That sounds really good!
It's so different, I've never heard of anyone else doing something like that before!
And kudos for getting a storyline that would fit all that; I definitely wouldn't have been able to think of something that would encompass all those great ideas.
You'll definitely get marks for originality! I think it sounds awesome :)
Mines not that flash-hot idea wise. I'm hoping the way I write it will make up for that. Hoping. My series of short stories revolves around the Tamil-Sinhalese conflict in Sri Lanka (yup, I'm Lankan) and how it affects the lives of different people. With a sort of underlying war-is-futile theme. I'm influenced by all those Indian writers (like Arundhati Roy - have you read The God of Small Things? Heavenly book!), but I want to write about Sri Lanka because hardly anyone writes about it :)
