Notre Dame's a Catholic University... It's based in Western Australia, but recently (about 3 years ago) opened a campus in Sydney. It's meant to have pretty good graduate opportunities, and it's a nice small environment.
Photovoltaic Engineering? Damn, sounds insanely hard... Haha I'd so fail at that. As for combining it with Commerce, do what you want, in my opinion, not what anyone else tells you to do or not to do, as the case may be.
