Re: $25/hr: State Rank Mathematics 2u(99)|Ext 1(48/50)||FREE English marking (93)
I also had the great pleasure of knowing Nancy at school, and am proud to call her my friend. She is one of the most fun, caring and awesome people I know.
Her marks speak for themselves - a state rank in...
Re: **99.65** HSC Chemistry Tutoring | USYD Law | ONLY 5 group/individual spots LEFT!
Thanks Chatoyance! Same to you! I had the most wonderful fortune of knowing you at school too ;D
Thanks Erique! Hahaha! See you around :)
Good luck guys :D
Only two spots left!
HSC is not about who is the most talented, but rather, who works the hardest :)
It's also important to be motivated.
If you study efficiently and confidently know all of the key concepts whilst doing lots of past paper questions to learn to apply your knowledge, you should be able to do great...
Hey everyone!
In my experience as an HSC student (doing heaps of past papers), these were the most common 4+ markers I came across :)
{Note there are more potential 4+ mark topics than listed here, and in some cases, the topics listed here may not always have a 4+ marker. Ultimately the best...
pH = a measure of how concentrated in hydrogen ions a particular acid is (logarithmic scale) and does not provide a measure of an acid's strength.
For example, an acid with a pH of 3 will have a hydrogen ion concentration of 10^(-3) mol/L, or 0.001 mol/L (using the fact that log(hydrogen ion...
I used all three too. Some had helpful information that the others did not. But I feel like Jacaranda and Contexts sometimes give too much detail.
There's a bit in Conquering Chemistry (Module 3) about how, when naming straight chain haloalkanes with more than one halogen, you have to take...
Re: Are there a lot of different ways for the production of ethanol as alternative fu
The end ethanol-water mixture from fermentation and the acid hydrolysis process must be fractionally distilled to get near pure ethanol (about 96% ethanol w/w), which can then be used as a fuel.
Hope this helps!
Hey!
I got the following answer:
I'm not sure if the image is clear enough, but the answer I obtained was 167 tonnes of total hydrogen produced with each 780 tonnes of ethylene (includes hydrogen gas and the hydrogen that makes up ethylene) (to 3 sig figs, the lowest amount of sig figs...
Re: Are there a lot of different ways for the production of ethanol as alternative fu
Hey!
There are many ways of producing ethanol.
The main ones specified in the syllabus are:
- fermentation of dilute glucose (aqueous) solution by yeast in 35 degrees celsius, anaerobic conditions etc...
