No credible source of definition groups religion into the term "racism". Your source is obviously wrong. The UN doesn't even define religion to be a part of the parameters of racial discrimination.

That being Muslim is not a racial ethnicity. It is a religious belief that can be held by anyone that chooses it to be.
Therefore, not racism.
Here, I'll be fair and explain my position on it.
The reason why someone can't be racist to someone who is a Muslim is because they choose to be a Muslim. Sure, you can discriminate against someone due to their faith, but it is based upon a choice, not something they can avoid. If someone called you Muslim because you're of an Arabic decent, that would be racist because they are assuming you are something based on your unavoidable appearance.
Tomorrow, however, I could say that I've converted to Islam. That would be a choice. I was not born a person of Islam and neither were you. It is a choice.

Yeh, I don't dislike people for being religious, otherise I would be discounting a lot of good people from my life (and I wouldn't have many friends at all lol). Though I am aware that religion can cause problems between people with conflicting personal beliefs.

Yes I am an atheist, and I agree there are exceptionally rude ones on here, and while I find their insults to be shitty, I cannot disagree with most of their points. What I was saying was, I agree with what you say about other random stuff that doesn't have anything to do with religion fairly often (no specific examples spring to mind).
While I am happy that you find some of my posts amusing (as it's my intention in posting them), I know you don't rep me to get some back, lol. I rep everyone back who reps me just cos that's how I roll, as well as anyone who either makes a good point, says something funny or is someone I have rep'd a few times and haven't rep'd recently or just if I deem them to be a decent poster in general.

I hate a great deal of the teachings of Islam, how barbaric Islamic nations are and how many muslims seem to turn to violence the second they are provided with what they believe to be the 'opportunity'.
I do not hate you, whilst I see your religion as disgusting and you would probably (and understandably of course) take offence to this, I find you to be -in general- a decent person. In the extremely limited way in which I know you, I do not hate or even dislike you as a person. Aside from religion I find myself agreeing with a lot of what you say. I have come across other muslims on here that seem to be awesome people too.
I'm sorry that I offended you however it is rather complicated, thinking you are alright but at the same time your religion does sicken me.
