For atar you'd definitely need like 98+ to be competitive so considering your school being ranked so high try to rank top 15ish in most of your subjects depending on the b6 rate for your subjects- you wanna be aiming for as many b6 and high b5 as possible^^

Median atar is like 97.5 and most people I know who got in this year had atars in the 98 range so getting an offer now might be a bit tough 😔

1. Yes just one factor you can sorta pick this out from the mark allocation asw 2. You should be talking about the main determinants from each factor- e.g. Sociocultural (family, peers, media, religion, culture & ATSI) to ensure full marks^^ but you can just mention each briefly in one sentence...

For the crucible I focused on 3 main themes and wrote a generic essay for a question- id say writing it for the 2024 HSC q as its pretty Broad and then try adapting it to other questions and tweak it^^ a lot of people leave blanks for thesis statements, topic sentences and linking sentences...

Yess I would make notes but honestly, I didn't look at them much it was more so that I could review the content. See if notes actually help you and if not then don't bother making them- I know a lot of people who didn't make notes at all or just used ones online and still got b6^^ Before the HSC...
