There's also CodeYear which you can sign up for which emails you weekly about Codecademy. You start learning javascript & they plan on adding python later.

If you type in some search terms & 'filetypedf' you may find some nice presents.
Try the YouTube channel 'thenewboston'. Khan Academy too! trypython.org may be of some use too.

I've never tried Pascal before.
Python is very fun. I think that variable thing is correct, not sure as I haven't really learnt any other programming languages. I have heard that Python is the closest to Pseudocode. Lots of resources out there to learn Python too.
Coding resources are very easy to find. It's just a matter of finding resources related to the SDD syllabus. Any particular programming language you are looking at learning?
I purchased the Mathematics Extension 1 HSC Practice Papers with Worked Solutions by Coroneos today. It was $16.95, I'm surprised it was under $30! More maffs work.
I can tell, i used it for the first time the other day and took me half an hour to do some basic trig. Gets annoying for me.
