I'm finding it so much fun yet so much work~ my partner and I literally just finished task 2 a few hours before it was due, it took us a lot of work and frustration to finally get the Mandelbrot working I can't even do some of the lab tasks because they're so hard! (ie. Week 4 prac exam... oh god) How's being a mentor? Did you do HS1917 last year or some other years ago?

I'll give you a hint: Group 3.

Sounds like there is a big difference between the intermediate & advanced python streams! I'll see how I go on time but I definitely want to do at least one programming stream in the challenge this year.
*Sigh*, I know what you mean about not going to be able to focus on schoolwork. That's going to happen to me too but I'll just pretend I'm studying for SDD. xD

During the all-nighter I was fortunate enough to work with different parts of the project. I did some stuff with the database but most of it was adding new working features to the website & trying to make it hacker proof which didn't work very well after one or two group members broke it, haha.

Bug fixing is fun! Although it did get a bit frustrating when we couldn't solve the problem and it was 3 or 4AM. I think it got fixed and it was a silly little mistake that must have been made as a result of the lack of sleep.

I did the intermediate stream last year as it was my first year of learning to program. It was lots of fun & I'm hoping to do the advanced python stream even though I should be doing my year 12 work.

I did IPT accelerated too! Actually, I have a feeling I know who you are. Haha, sorry to sound slightly stalkerish.

Wow, the template parser looked really confusing to me but that must have been a nice challenge during the all nighter.

Aww, that sucks. I've never tried embedded programming. I might have a go at that in the NCSS challenge this year if I have enough time.

I learnt that programming in the early hours of the morning results in very silly mistakes. However it was so much fun!

I remember the 'bots named after browsers! That was pretty cool watching them race against the other group.
