i dont do maths, so someone who has done it will have to confirm, i think yr 11 content is counted as assumed knowledge? so you could be assessed or it could be relevant to a question? in general i think all foundations of math are important to understanding the next stage?

for the majority of subjects prelims dont matter unless its foundational knowledge that could help you understand the yr12 content. its not assessed in the hsc tho. i think there are a couple? or one that can assess yr 11 content in the hsc. i think maths is one of them

yeah you can def have anecdotes - i saw an example were its a combo of a creative and discursive which was cool

they still want them - an extended motif or metaphor is good, imagery and descriptions are also good. you still want to have similes and metaphors, rhetorical qs etc. play with syntax and sentence structure. at the end of the day its the CRAFT of writing so theyre rewarding how youre crafting...
