    Halp. Subjects.

Idk. Have pulled 3/4 all nighters already. I do recall staying up until 4.30am on a sunday morning doing engrish. So in the long term it's probably not going to work.

    Halp. Subjects.

True, true. Yeah the word limit is greater for EE2, but I'm doing speeches so it's pretty much all in the delivery (5 page speech irrc). There's so much reading it's ridiculous though. Hist. ext seems to be harder. It's all so philosophical.

    Halp. Subjects.

Because I have 14 units and the head teacher is on my trail everyday. "Drop something before you crack. Think of the ATAR" Although I feel as though I can manage if I treat SOR as a negligible subject, like I do. I am equally good at both. It's just the exam part of hist ext- may be a bit...

    Halp. Subjects.

Can't figure out what to drop, so does anyone know off-hand how History Extension scales in comparison with English Ext.2? I know scaling shouldn't be the determining factor in subject selection, but since I love them all this is the last resort it seems.

Contratz Starshine02! Not many people like speaking. Oh, the sounds of relief when the class was told no more english speeches in the rest of their high school life :P

We got our english results back today too. Got 15/15 for the speeches and 8.5/10 (so 9 rounded i think ?) for the essay (the essay that caused me to run to sick bay because I barely touched the related text blergh). Quite satisfied, although I wish the speech was weighted more.It was 5% for...

    Study plans for the holidays?

Well, first of all START my notes for every subject. I'm so lazy, gawsh. Specifically: 1. English adv- read all texts. Revisit the dreaded 'b' word and refine essays for this. Start main notes on Hamlet. Work on creative. 2. Ext 1 eng- Read wuthering heights, write notes rah rah rah. Creative...

Bio- 25/25. First by 3 marks. Chem- 25/27. Equal first. Sah happy. Why do all-nighter results turn out better than the ones that are worked on progressively?

Tips for part b of the personality question?

There is a good opportunity to discuss the significance of Trotsky's life in exile in the personality section. His development as a polemicist, prolific writer, orator etc... Although, as said, it won't be explicitly asked as a question.

    Romanticism

I don't have one but I am also doing Romanticism. Just research the life of a Romantic and use their story as a first person empathy. Mary Shelly had a pretty horrid life in respect to her love. I think something happened about her committing suicide off a bridge, but can't recall whether it...

    studying in summer holidays?

Wouldn't bother if I were you. Take a break because you will have enough work to do when you come back. If you want to go over some content briefly then that's all good. BUT if you do decide to take the 6 week break as a whole holiday make sure you keep your mind working- puzzles and reading...

Advice on Subject Dropping/Picking Up Please? (Extension 2 Maths vs. Visual Arts)

If you're a natural at maths then do 4u. Even though I am a visual arts advocate, 85 ish probably won't cut a great ext 2 mark. Also, if your school doesn't have the best history of VA results- art express- etc then yeah maths. deffs.
