i did that form back in december but havent heard back from anyone saying it's confirmed, are you supposed to get an email or anything? should i go into the science student centre and fill in the form in person?

well everyone says not to buy a maths textbook since the course pack gives you enough notes and questions to do you can probably find free pdfs of most textbooks online though they may be older editions a textbook might be worth it if it's one you can use throughout your degree and if you like...

the lectures are one hour algebra and one hour calculus, i got a bit lost but just go by your timetable, and it sounds like the email from doust meant that he's lecturing the second half of the tuesday lecture

if it's the same as last year, you just get a book with course info and all the lab exercises. you can print this from moodle but they say the price of printing all those pages is about the same or slightly more expensive than if you buy the course pack, but i'm not sure how true that is. you...

if you need a new sticker on your card for 2014 do you need to fill in the form again or do you just ask for a new sticker?

this stuff confuses me, last year i only had to pay the service and amenities fee which i could pay myself and then the student contribution fee was put on hecs, but now it's telling me to pay both :/ what do i do

i think i'll only go monday so i can get my arc diary and go to the mastodon gig. it's worth going for at least one day if you aren't familiar with the uni or if you want to try and make friends and join societies

hey i did math1131, babs1201 and chem1031 in my first semester too :) you're overreacting a lot haha. unless you have a disability or something (my bad if you do), it isn't physically impossible to do, it's downhill and will take 5-10 minutes at a reasonable walking pace. classes start 5 minutes...

did you enrol in any courses? a course isn't the program/degree you're doing, it's the subjects you're taking

I did that walk a lot last semester, as long as lectures don't run late then you'll get there just in time. and if you miss a few minutes of the start of a lecture or leave a lecture a few minutes early you will hardly miss much. make sure you're in shape! ;)

i think the auto timetable thing just puts you in the classes which are least full, whereas with rectanges it will get you the timetable with the least hours at uni, most sleep in time, etc. i just did rectangles for your classes and you could have it way more compact!

I did my first year of bachelor of science this year, and we were told we have to declare our major at the end of the first year, but i havent gotten an email or anything telling us to? are we supposed to now or will they tell us when we need to? and how do we do it
