    Business vs. Economics

+1, Nearly all the humanities are capped, Biology is capped and many other 'easier' subjects. Its also due to the amount of people who sit the exam. Why would you drop ECO if ur 2nd? as wouldnt you rather get a 90+ in eco than a 90+ in business?? :D

    The status of Real Madrid.

Ibra is alright i guess, but no where near the calibre of 68 mil + World-Class Eto'o

    The status of Real Madrid.

SO TRUE! ZIDANE WAS JUST IMMENSE. and R.Carlos peaked at Madrid, look at him now at his current club.. haha; I reckon Real Madrid have good strength everywhere now; their main players have been Raul Albiol (what a young spanish defender!!); Esteban Granero (will eventually take up GUTI's place...

    The Football Thread

re: The Official Football Thread yeh; Mannone made a brilliant double save to deny Dempsey and Johnson. This kid will dismantle Almunia's #1 by the end of the season. No offence to Fabianski, but he seems shaky on high crosses and long shots. Haha if you look at Arsenal's #1 goalkeepers...

re: The Official Football Thread Dear Izzay; Wenger finds these chaps through high-quality scouting and youth development. Though 'some' of his more-talented youngsters have been snapped from Barcelona's academy....Fabregas, Merida...

    Football - Summer Transfers

LOL so true; Hopefully Pavlyuchenko finds another top club in Europe.

Are you ready for year 12?

ok; Year 11 is over, these prelim yearlies are easier samples of the hsc. If you can ace these, all u'll need to do is know the hsc syllabus dot points; instead of intense cramming 2-3 weeks before all ur hsc exams. :)

Are you ready for year 12?

LOL, this thread is irrelevant, why do people SAY that they are going to 'try-hard' or do 'better-study':confused::confused::confused: How bout you guys stop 'SAYING', and actually put it into action! The line which our Maths teacher said to a try-hard 3U student was: "You can talk...

Re: to fail year 11 preliminary

yes; but the teachers at our school went through that time and time again, far-out some people just dont seem to pay attention at school. especially the History Faculty at my school repeated: "As long as you write something 'relevant' to the paper, u cannot be deemed as unsatisfactory. But...

    2009 Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread

re: Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread I thought all Chemistry prelim papers were finished, must of been mis-informed. :mad1:

How much of Preliminary do we need to remember for HSC

yeh, exactly "assumed knowledge" hence, if you dont have the foundations, how in the world do you expect to understand much more rigorous and challenging concepts in the hsc? People usually bludge Prelims as the misconception is that it counts towards nothing BUT it counts towards your...

Anyone thinking of doing Double Extension?

DEATH?? Thats going a bit far dont u think... You'll have to pull a series of all-nightas, and go before and after school..hence much higher workload BUT no-one dies from 4 u + 4 u, they just burn out, and flunk their hsc. :)

    Football - Summer Transfers

HAHA, Harewood, he was great at West Ham, i think he scored a memorable (passing 1-2 with Zamora) goal whilst Arsenal were still at Highbury :rofl:. Later, he moves to Villa, and now he's an absolute FLOP, feel sorry for O'neill as he actually payed 4 mil for him! Good Luk to you...

    The Football Thread

re: The Official Football Thread I reckon Man Utd would have won 7-3 or more if Given was still at Tyneside. Its kinda funny how Man City pull a decent youth in Joe Hart, and they make him play with Dunne as a defender, and later he joins Birmingham on loan, and he is making brilliant saves...

    The Football Thread

re: The Official Football Thread exactly, no offence to the guy but he needs way more practice if indeed Capello decides to play him in South Africa 2010. On current form, Hart seems to be a contender and if Capello does look at youth, maybe Scott Carson as one of the 3 in the squad...

    The Football Thread

re: The Official Football Thread I reckon Moyes has a gem in Jack Rodwell, as he can slot into the side so well. Also, Congrats to all Everton supporters, for a good 3-0 WIN!!! Same goes for undefeated Chelsea, 6 in 6, Suck it up Spurs (if ur a spurs fan, i am dearly sorry) :sun::sun::sun:

re: The Official Football Thread exactly, hence if the game wasnt 95 minutes and 20 seconds long....it wouda been a draw, which is a fair result for both sides. :haha:

    Europa league

Well, Villarreal are a good team but without Pellegrini as coach, its hard to see them going further than Last 16....or Quarters.. As For Bremen, who knows, as they seem to be lacking their influential Brazilian in attack---Diego. But they have OZIL + MARIN who are Germany's two future...

    Europa league

my bad, why did I say neva, i mean as of recently, hasnt it been a Milan-Inter Monopoly. but in saying this, Roma must have F.Totti, Doni and Vucinic as fit as possible in order to go on and win this Europa League. :)

    The Official NRL Thread

yeh, exactly, as everyone describes him as the 'RUNNING TRUCK'. far-out Brisbane always sell their top players, and yet they still challenge for Finals Football. eg. Stagg, Hannant, Ennis (NOW Bulldogs..); Civoniceva (Panthers..); Hunt to AFL, the list goes on.
