It only applies to advance, as far as I know they cant give us JUST discursive, we always get an option. I may be wrong but that's how its been so far

For english spelling usually isn't a problem unless the marker cannot decipher what you're trying to say. Grammar plays into the flow and readability of ur essay so its important to maintain.
