Can confirm. From the people I've talked to, I would estimate that 80% of Commerce/Actuarial Studies students do Finance as their commerce major.

I don't think you can do Business Law as your commerce major, if you're doing Commerce/Law.

Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016 The exorbitant fees charged in Summer Term are only for Business School subjects. Other faculties charge normal fees for the subjects taught in summer term.

Yep, that is not a bad idea. Doing MATH1251, ACCT1511, ECON1102 and ACTL1101 in second sem is common for a lot of first year actuarial students :)
