    unsw or usyd??

maths is probably comparable imo. commerce and law i would probably agree that usyd has the harder programs. med????? why?
  2. I

    Am i cooked?

figure out some plans for your other essays if there are any should be crammable
  3. I

    Odd Question

cant go past 99.95 selection rank so it should guarantee
  4. I

    Odd Question

https://hscplus.unsw.edu.au/ lmao wtf are these points. everyone probably gets +2 for 3u maths, and then a huge amount gets +3 for 4u maths.
  5. I

    shouldnt h2o be tetrahedral geometry

i think ur right but shape and geometry generally are used interchangeably and this q has the point of making u label different geometries. most often probably molecular geometry rather than electron geometry is assumed
  6. I

UNSW Actuarial Studies/Comp Sci Vs MQ Actuarial Studies/Information Technology and other UNSW CO-OP courses

i would expect unsw to have harder exams/assignments. there probably has been people whove done well in actuarial without 4u. it varies person to person. coop is competitive, and lots of applicants will be in the 99s.
  7. I

    I need urgent advice.

figure out whether they'll even let u take the chem assessment/switch first?
  8. I

    Trimesters

if you have a habit of cramming, cramming 2-3 subjects is easier than 4. also given that a trim is 10 weeks, i suspect the unsw curriculum packs subjects with a bit less content than usyd
  9. I

    Bcom or Actuaries

unsw used to have a finance & banking coop. not sure what that's called anymore. oh there's also the jp morgan traineeship tafe thing
  10. I

    Bcom or Actuaries

you have my most heartfelt condolences sir
  11. I

    Bcom or Actuaries

bcom finance/accounting things are probably more directly relevant to work you'll do in IBs. law is useful in the sense that it's proof that you can tough your way through a harder degree, and are able to write/read/communicate well. wrt work, it could come in handy, but at junior levels you...
  12. I

    Bcom or Actuaries

math/financial stats is in bsc, not sure how you would do that in a bcom. In any case, if you want a decent shot at IB, make sure you have a degree that stretches to 4 years or maybe more. 3 years is too tight to make a strong enough resume for IBs imo. the traditional degree would be law/bcom...
  13. I

    Bcom or Actuaries

neither gives a very good chance of getting into ib
  14. I

    how does uni years?

the point of an internship being penultimate/final is that it funnels into a job the following year after you graduate. this is why companies run internships at all. paying a student to run around their office is very unprofitable otherwise. now if you don't want that job at that company, you...
  15. I

    how does uni years?

nah you can cap it harder. straight up cap your graduation date and justify the cap if it comes up
  16. I

    Practicing english moulding skills

stringing together a coherent essay on the spot is harder. also, you generally have a better sense of time in an exam if you have something kinda memorised and have timed writing it
  17. I

    Do You Value Your Life?

ye probably for the top 1%ile
  18. I

    unsw or usyd??
