How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

I meant the overall mark, 60 may have been a bit exaggerated, but I think you get the point I'm trying to make :)

How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

96 is way better lol, band e3 for 4u Maths doesn't require that much study, that 96 for legal is pretty state rank level. But some people can say that getting a 90 in legal is way easier than getting a scaled mark of 60 in 4u.

How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

It's harder to do well in a high scaling subject if you can't get good ranks compared to you doing lower scaling subjects that you actually like and can perform at a good level at.

How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

Ahaha thank you, goal is only 95 :P I understand what you're saying, but yea, everyone works differently. Just make sure you test what works and what doesn't work for you, don't spend your entire prelims studying doing the same 10 hours per day, where you could have found a method of studying...

How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

Just experiment and see what works, Since term 1 this year, I've tested what works and what doesn't work for me and have finally found the key steps to take to achieve good results :) This has lead to a dramatic increase in ranks. Ranks in year 10: Maths - 10th Science - 50th English - 50th...

How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

Exactly, Thats why you don't spend 10 hours a day studying, 3-4 hours per day max should be more than sufficient considering you're in prelims. Just don't over study and burn out before term 3 begins, it'll be worse than not studying at all.

How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

What are your ranks? The person who's ranked 1 in nearly everything in my school usually spends his holidays going out with friends, with probably like 1-2 hours of work a day.

How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

Relaxing is your main focus in the holidays unless you are doing miserably unwell in a subject or so. You shouldn't stress out and do 15 hours a day, holidays are allocated to you so you don't burn out and you're able to enjoy life. :)

    Prelim 2016 Maths Help Thread

Hey guys, how would you tackle this question? It was proven in the notes above that the tangents to the parabola x2 = 4ay at two points P(2ap, ap^2) and Q(2aq, aq^2) on the parabola intersect at the point M(a(p + q), apq). Explain why this result can be restated as follows: ‘The tangents at...
