Law entry should be made harder

Yes to LSAT. Blitzing GAMSAT is hard. People get 96 percentile and fail to get into U melbourne - so post grad med is still harder than Law by any measure.

Law entry should be made harder

In doing that and making so many prerequisites, you would be limiting people to courses based on their HSC subjects. Probably not the best way to go. At university, you get to try out different areas (e.g. Law) if you like it - stay - if you don't, drop out - others with lower marks can simply...

    Studying during the holidays

I did speeches too. You should know ALL speeches (techniques, context, audience etc). But you should have detailed study on a few - preferably 3 (I did kyi, Atwood and Bandler). I think they specified Bandler, so it was great (I did it with Sadat - went great with the question). Some people...

    Unfair Weighted Exam

I don't think its unfair at all. I had a 30% prac out of 15. Since 'some' of the top 9 got 14/14, it must have been a fair/doable test. If you see yourself as part of the 'top 9', you should have scored near full marks. Trials are 40% ? you should be able to catch up if you work hard from now...

B.Commerce/B.Laws: Transferring, WAM and employment opportunities

Re: At usyd if u transfer from a totally different faculty is ur transcript wiped? Yep it will show up. You can get a 'clean slate' only if you change unis. Even then, employers might ask for your transcript for previous year. But really, I am yet to meet anyone who failed everything (how...

    Host response to malaria?

well, you better get to work then. Any wrong info, or anything you forget in the exam - examiners will pick up on it easily (most commonly done plus every bio teacher basically knows this). Making life harder for yourself.

    Host response to malaria?

You don't have to know it at all. the syllabus only requires you to know the 'cause and prevention of malaria' part. My teacher assigned us with the cause, symptoms, host response etc on Malaria anyway (when in fact, you can CHOOSE to do any infectious disease) but I remember there was quite a...

B.Commerce/B.Laws: Transferring, WAM and employment opportunities

Re: Out of these degrees and grades accordingly, which one would be more employable? lol. you're not going to get a distinction in b.eco. You don't need that amount of study to get a HD in eco, and you're failing. Mate, TAFE is the only option.

simple concept which i can not understand

As HeroicPandas pointed it, what do you mean? it is a typical question in 2u so I assume differentiate? If thats the case, there is a 'formula' (just a shortcut) can't seem to remember, but this is how I would do it: y = 2^x lets make x the subject so we can differentiate normally: lny =...

Need to get better at english

Its all about trading off one subject for another. If you just want to maximise your ATAR, try work out which subjects you should put most effort in to get the highest ATAR possible (I focused on other subjects while neglecting engrish, did english for 1 whole week straight before HSC because I...

can you leave an exam early yes or no???

If you are 100% with every MC then leave. If not, do the the whole exam again if you have time. But the best would be, attempt 50% of the questions as quickly as possible. And then rush out. If you stay in exam for longer than 1 hour - you can't leave. Soz brah. Or even better, please drop out...
