You need to remember that your school's best interest and your own best interest are not the same thing. They have their own agenda ie their stats. Schools are ranked on percentage of band 6's achieved thus for them a potential 80 in general math is better than a 60 in 2u for them (I know 80...

I think most courses require a certain amount of attendance in tutorials. I think for my courses last year I needed at least 8 out of 11 tutorials so you might wanna check what it is for the courses you are doing.

I know it might seem like you have no motivation right now but consider the regret you will feel when ATARs come out and you didnt get into the course you wanted. I know its very easy to transfer into what you want after a year of uni but its still the easiest path to get into your course...

This is a strange thread but 2, 3, 4 are pretty good, 7 is not bad, but try not to sit up the very back because some people find it hard to see because of the angle

I signed up for a few of them during O-Week they have stalls set up along the main walkway

fake it til you make it. tell yourself it doesnt matter. every person who has done the hsc will tell you that in hindsight, the hsc wasnt as big of a deal as they made it out to be when they were in yr 12

+1 there are always antisocial people in any cohort

Also there are plenty of clubs and societies you can join which are great for meeting new people and making friends

hahahahah trust me i do actuarial, where i was told everyone is an antisocial nerd but you will find people who are outgoing and social and youll know who they are jsut by looking at them. jsut sit next to them in lectures and tutes and start a convo i can guarantee youll be sweet!

im not sure where either of them are but you should be fine, tutes finish like 5 to the hour and tutes generally start 5 past the hour so you have about 10 mins to get to your next class and it takes less than 10 mins to walk from one end of the uni to the other
