So it's likely that Conics won't be taken out of the syllabus anytime soon?

I agree with most of it except Probability theory.

Not sure if space or motors....

? Sorry Didnt quite get the last sentence ...,. Yes I got d. My explanation was because if it came in a 3-4 mark question then it says with calculations explain then yeh my answer would be easily applicable, if correct. But then why did the teachers answer c? and the answers say b? and we got...

Not sure if space or motors....

I must have done a lot of things wrong. i will check my work. But shouldnt the differences in kinetic energy be the energy that is converted to electrical energy? Maybe they took into account the exponential increase in induced kinetic energy over time due to intensity I which is propotional to...

    Faraday's Law Paradox

Maybe the electrons experience a force therefore probably cause a current? And maybe it has something to do with the geometrical properties of a circle and therefore can cause like angular velocity for electrons?

Not sure if space or motors....

Not sure of this is right but by the projectile formula (v^2-u^2)/2g = d we get v= sqrt (2gd) since u=0. By subbing in values u find v=sqrt (19.6). Now kinetic energy difference in values =KE= KEf-KEi: 1/2 * 0.1 ( 19.6 - 3.8^2) = 0.258. The solution is D?. note the KEi represents the value of...

Advice from past participants for titration competition?

Wait so how good is 0.99863 mol/L from 3 trials average given the concentration of 0.1 mol/L. I somehow got this. I am alright at calc.

How important is sketching trig functions?

Differentiate? with this they ask you to find this to see the gradient at the point so you can determine whether a sharp point or vertical tangent? And amplitude is the coefficient already before the trig function

How important is sketching trig functions?

Yes. The easier way by algebra is to remeber the domain of the function and instead of the original x value sub in the value provided instead. i.e. instead of sin (x) if provided sin(2x + pi) the let -pi/2 < 2x + pi < pi/2 to find domain and to find range sub in the values of domain found into...

    Chemistry Problem

Please show me how to do each one..... yes carrot, as I mentioned I am ok with calculations of moles, ph , molarity concentration etc. just the electrchemistry the oxidant etc. Strawberry by atomic numbers i meant the use of atomic numbers to determine the type of decays that will occur i.e...

    Chemistry Problem

Guys in Year 11 I used to find chemistry simple but now I find it confusing especially the multiple choice. Its almost as if all the content disappears from my brain when I do the question. For calculation or equilibrium things its ok, but for things like electrochemistry I find it confusing...

So it's likely that Conics won't be taken out of the syllabus anytime soon?

Conics > statistics > harder ext1. And well what would you use combinations and permutations or circle geo or inequalities for ? Conic sections are used for suspension bridges, astronomy, medical imaging, medical, lenses, architecture, hour glass :), navigation, satellite communication...
