I don’t know if it has changed, but back when I started engineering in 2002, first year was flexible as in all Engo students did the same subjects, including chemistry, irrespective of th chosen major.

It really depends on your percentile within the cohort. According to the UAC scaling report, which is released every year, unless you are close to the top 1% statewide, Legal scales better. At the top 1% they are basically identical.

Had to do balanced ionic equation, find molar ratio between Zn and Ag, determine which was oxidised and which was reduced, find moles of Zn lost and then use molar ratio to find moles of silver gained, then convert to mass of Silver
