Yeah I guess so but if you don't get a high mark it will be detrimental to your ATAR, but looking at your Subject list if that were to happen you do have a backup subject unless your planning on dropping down to 10 units?
That's understandable why you dislike bio then. The content in Y11 Bio is more biology in nature and is extremely boring, whereas Y12 bio is more about Human Biology and is extremely interesting (Besides maybe some stuff in the 1st topic)
It's up to you but I would keep it if I were in your...
With bio, what part aren't you enjoying? I HATED and I mean HATED Y11 bio but Y12 bio is so much different! Yeah you are allowed to do both as far as I know.
Ohh damn, I see.. Reason is I eventually would like to do Postgraduate Med and I would rather do Med Science as an undergrad degree because I absolutely love learning all that Medical Science has to offer and since I would enjoy it so much it would be more beneficial then that of the BSc degree...
Hey. So I started thinking to myself today about options if I don't get that atar required for med sci.
I read on the USYD website that you can transfer to different science courses from the BSc course. Is this the same for UNSW? How hard is it to transfer and what's the duration you have to...
To be completely realistic I would think it would be very difficult only because of your English Rank. On the other hand its not impossible because you still have 60% weighting left so give it your all!
At the moment, 88-89 (Rough Guess). Definetley need to improve your English rank into at least the top 1/2 of the cohort and possibly if you can in the top 3 ranks for Modern.
My marks won't get me far to get into Undergrad med but hopefully will be able to attain a spot in a Medical Science degree which gives you the opportunity to get into Medicine. If that doesn't happen I'll be aiming for Postgrad Med :)

Absolute tragedy.. Let's hope the law enforcement agencies can catch the guy/s who did it and sentence them to life or death. RIP to the 3 people who have now died in the attack.
I think Maths should be compulsory instead of english since it does have relevance to everyday life but that won't happen.. Anyway I think English should be compulsory but should be treated like all other subjects are when it gets to the ATAR
Good luck mate. I am glad you didn't choose to go down those horrible life ending paths.. Your marks are really good at the moment! Just try your best, keep your head up and you'll get to where you want to go in life with that determination :)
