so exam marks are what you got for the actual hsc exam you sat and hsc mark is for your overall mark for that subject? Whar about the assessment marks? Arent they considered?

What I dont understand is how can someone get an 85 for e.g. internal mark for chem and then in the external hsc exam get say a 91 then get a band 6? Because isnt it the average of the 2? wouldnt that be 88?

raw marks as in the external hsc exam?? What If you have a crappy rank at your school say 12/30 but then you get a 98 in 3 u maths....does that mean you state rank? considering your school is ranked 80-100. Someone please explain
