Yea from what I've heard the pay off is quiet decent in terms of your Resume and its good for networking as well. A lot of people I know in upper years have done it/are doing it as well and even some people I met at Uni (as in didnt know before them before hand)

Does anyone have experience with GLP, how difficult it is to get in? whats it involve? etc. I'm considering applying for it next sem, I didn't initially apply because I wanted to see if I'd have time balancing it with work uni and other commitments, think I should be fine in terms of time...

I think the requirements are a 5.0 GPA, 15 credit points, and Lex101 or 102 as prerequisites. So i'll have to do it anyway if I do end up transferring, and it would then be an earlier transfer than if I did bus250 then lex101

It wasnt that bad as in the topic itself, some of the theory aspects to me are more tiresome then the actual practical work. The format of the assignment that was like most of our tutes for the sem was retarded... For most the tutes you couldnt select your/type your, own heading, description...

yep. Thanks for clarifying, Think I'm going to still do Lex101 as a people unit next sem just to get a feel for it. Many of my mates regret doing Law, and originally I had no intentions of it and still dont really have any intentions of a career in it, so will just give that unit a try.

for me so far, ACCG, especially the journal assignment (Tho maybe its just because we had to select from stupid lists and so I wasnt able to do it as fast as I wanted to), has been really boring/unbareable at times. Srsly considering trying to transfer to law next year, will probably do lex101...

this lol. my dad ended up googling the distances. But personally I'd just take a gamble, but he wanted to do it since he didnt do it when he was meant to. Chances are they arent looking at ur odometer numbers, the log book is just as disgustingly formatted for the instructors imo

Personally didn't apply, but a few of my friends and people I know did and went. Honestly, their grades dropped, but a lot of peoples rise a lot. And its a good school in terms of scaling, at least compared to a lot of schools in the West. To me those people focused way too much on socialising...

i got this theory one wrong about neg. interest rates, was confused between that and the right one. Tho honestly I didnt find anything about negative interest rates in the lecture and the relevant textbook chapter, but myb I didnt look hard enough in the textbook.

how much do you think we are expected to write for the case study questions in the ACCG hw. And in what format? I've done a draft but its pre messy so probably gonna rewrite it but dunno if it was the right way to answer it
