HSC Extension 2 Mathematics Predictions / Thoughts

Did people get the last question part 2. When i worked out L(n-1) the numerator and denominator were the opposite way around to what you needed so i couldnt show it repeated. Did it 3 times and kept getting the same

HSC Extension 2 Mathematics Predictions / Thoughts

I suck at proofs and some of the harder complex number stuff and it wasnt that bad in the sample but some of the past papers i have done have so much of it

any guesses for possible essay questions for english adv?

I didnt think either of last years papers were that hard (atleast for the ones im studying elliot, richard and 1984)

any guesses for possible essay questions for english adv?

Yeah i agree it will be specifc for example form and alienation in hollow. But i dont think it will be something like time. I think we will get an 'easy' mod b but i think mod a will be a specific theme and quote and then mod c will be harder like represent a moment of tension in one of your...

any guesses for possible essay questions for english adv?

I dont think they can be that specific. For example they can do winston for common and richard mod A but they couldnt do (or atleast likely wont due to backlash) Obrian or Richmond. Same with some themes especially in mod b

any guesses for possible essay questions for english adv?

Wouldnt go on that. If you look at past papers they pretty much do what they want.

    Hard Proofs Question

Since a lot of the harder topics that usually get used in Q16 got removed like conics, we will get either a proof or some weird complex number/vector proof hybrid question as the hardest questions. Mechanics, integration are just too easy and its hard to find a completely unique question

    HSC economic extended response topics

Yeah but I'm not sure what effects what they choose more; trying to make it unpredictable or relevant

    Implementation of Monetary Policy

I personally do it as cash rate corridor and then DMO's for liquidity managament inresponse to changes in demand and supply of money to keep the cash rate from not devaiting outside of the target range

    HSC economic extended response topics

I also think it will either be CAD or Australia trade and financial flows (asked on CSSA paper) which are pretty similar

    HSC economic extended response topics

Yeah i was thinking CAD as well. I'm kind of torn with environmental sustainability, If i study it i think its pretty easy but im not sure if we will see it as we had it in 2018 and it doesn't pop up very often

    can you answer this question?

I would avoid that one because no governments really use it any more unless they need to. But in theory it would increase the money supply and thus put upward pressure on domestic interest rates

    HSC economic extended response topics

Does anyone have any solid predictions of what topics will be in the extended responses for the HSC? I think definitely monetary and probably the case study and fiscal/labour market but not sure on what else
  19. F

    can you answer this question?

Was about to say that is the ugliest question i have ever seen. Just do domestic borrowing and international borrowing. For domestic you would explain how they do it (selling treasury bonds under the tender system), then how the crowding out effect will increase domestic interest rates due to...
