    Rate difficulty of exam

The exam wasn't difficult if you studied properly. Which I didn't. I made A LOT of careless errors simply because I wasn't paying close enough attention when reading the paper but anyone that consistently put in effort to revise all their topics should have gotten full marks without a problem.

What HSC marks are you aiming for?

    Adv Eng-89+ Bio-87+ Mathematics-90+ Business-90+ Physics-88+

Did anyone else answer the wrong question?

The supervisors at our school didn't let us do that for some reason. Even just the little corners. I have no idea why they prevent students from doing that...

General Thoughts: English Advanced Paper 2

I feel like remembering 7 speeches is quite a big task. But then again you have a variety of speeches which adapt to any type of question they give. Memorising quotes is the most difficult part but then again other people's texts wouldn't exactly be considered 'small'.

General Thoughts: English Advanced Paper 2

I didn't finish module C. I only wrote 1/4 of a page on my related text and the question was quite simple as well :(. So depressed right now...

    Section 2 - Creative Writing

Gah...I completely didn't see the numbers next to the pictures and forgot to specify which image I actually used. I hope they don't take marks off for that :(.

General Thoughts: English Paper 1 (AOS)

I thought it was quite a difficult paper. I didn't even realise the theme was time during the comprehension so I didn't relate my analysis of the poem to that theme. I spent too long on the essay and neither of my related texts fit very well. As for creative, don't even mention it. I managed my...

Imagine if Papa reappeared in the AOS paper?

Papa was hilarious. I remember another facebook group making fun of the science exam. I can't remember the molecule they specified but it said something along the lines of "are you _______? Cause you're 200 times sweeter than sugar".

Is anyone else feeling burnt out/unmotivated?

I've been find that it's extremely difficult to stay motivated. I've watched the xfactor uk live show twice today. The shame :(. I thought the epiphany of how screwed I am would have kicked in with only a week left, but it really hasn't. I feel so screwed at this stage. Screwed as in I don't...

Plan of attack for the English exams!

Paper 1: Short answers-35 mins Essay-45 mins Creative-40 mins Paper 2: 40:40:40 (hopefully). It really depends on how difficult the questions are.

What's your worst AND best exam(s)?

Worst: A tie between biology and English Best: Probably 2u maths. But even studying for that isn't going well :S.

So much to do so little time

Same!! It has taken me so long to find a course (apart from commerce) that I would like to do and I still end up being uncertain of my preferences. I hate making decisions :(.

Anyone Finding They Studied Better Pre-Trials?

I've been slacking off like crazy after the trials. Maybe it's because I'm no longer competing against my cohort.
  14. E

    HSC in one word

    Overrated.
  15. E

    Who is awake studying?

Well I took a nap and can't sleep now. Damn those naps...
  16. E

    Study Snacks

I spend at least $10 a week at Coles on study snacks. It's usually just chips or popcorn but it accumulates to so much!!
  17. E

Dr Pepper's "I had good ranks and screwed them with trials" Club

12th in 2u maths, overall. 12th in English, just for trials (the average was less than 50%) 9th in Physics, overall. 4th in Business trials. Aaaaand I did horribly in biology. After trials, I've been slacking off HEAPS. I think I've burnt out or something. I'm not usually distracted so easily.

Anyone thinking about giving gifts to their teachers?

That's EPIC. I was thinking of getting my physics teacher that since we learn about Heisenberg's contribution.
  19. E

Anyone thinking about giving gifts to their teachers?

Most of my teachers have been incredible and there are already people that are collecting money and buying a present on behalf of the class. I don't think teachers get anywhere near enough recognition for the work they do. So yes. I will most definitely be getting a present for the majority...

has anyone started preparing for the HSC?!

Did 1 HSC maths paper and I'm still catching up on notes. Damn I feel like I'm not doing any work :(.
