I reckon you should keep the extra unit as there are only a few months till the HSC. The extra units can act as protection in case you do badly in the HSC in one subject.

Advanced aligns much better than Standard, but you should be fine as long as you get high marks.

Yeah Mathscape Extension is a top book.

When selecting your classes make sure they are subjects you enjoy. Also don't always think the subject you plan to drop is what you will drop in the end you might do badly in another subject and have to keep your non preferred subject.

Wow nice marks for someone who accelerated in Yr 10. You could definitely get 99.

General maths and Cafs will scale you down, but as long as you get good ranks you ATAR will be fine.
