Apparently there was a recalculation of one of the english extension 1 questions - not sure about that but it appears that my cohort's english ext kids got their marks (and consequently their ATARs) changed

I'd go to UNSW's info day, except I'll be ~11km too high for that (11000guy?) and somewhere over the Indian Ocean.

I emailed the maths faculty about whether there would be an Advanced Maths/Computer Science double degree. They said they hadn't had anyone ask about it, hence it not existing - but if they were to push for it they could get it in 2014. (Not sure if useful, but I thought I'd mention it.)

My mother is a pharmacist at a hospital in Sydney's west and says that the market is oversaturated with pharmacy graduates - she had one pharmacy intern position available within her pharmacy and had around 50 graduates competing for it.

My friend got 96 for bio and came =20th, although her exam mark was 97. Apparently because she was equal first, the other girl's mark, which was lower, dragged down the internal.

Was estimated 99.5+/99.7, got 99.4. So, pretty close. :)

Anything important that I'll miss if I'm not at info day? I'll be in Singapore.

99.4, more than enough for my course (91) :) Also means I can take co op as well, yay.

Also, if you do advanced mathematics at UNSW, you do a thesis in your last year - so it's a four year degree. (At least, if I have it correctly. Additionally there's no advanced mathematics/computer science degree at UNSW.)

Missed out by two units - I had four units on 89. Disappointed...

A packet of pens if I get over 98, two packets if I get 99.95. (I can't tell if my mum is being serious. She probably is.)

I had a sad about missing out on all rounders with both english and physics on 89. Also expected to do better in the eco externals, but, well.
