How hard to get 90+ atar?

utilize your teachers and peers, start studying early, don't get burntout - those are the things that have helped me most but ofc everyone is different

    Modern History or Business Studies?!

Honestly for the HSC you really want subjects you can enjoy. No matter how good at a subject you are in Year 10 you're gonna need to improve at some point before you sit the HSC and all that, so you want it to be a subject you're going to work towards. That being said, there is a lot of...

    SGP survey distribution help

Facebook is a great one - local community pages, teacher's association pages, etc. Just make sure you're not breaking the rules of the page! If your teachers at school are nice you could get them to email it out to other staff too (I know the teachers at my school would be fine to do this but...

how to stop stressing after an exam

It's just mind games which sucks but also means it's somewhat 'fixable'. Here's a few suggestions I have - obviously they won't work for everyone, but they're worth a try =) Meditation Less screens before bed / herbal tea / less harsh light / etc. before bed to increase how sleepy you are...

    Chinese In Context

Just search up "does chinese in context scale well" and then click on some of the links

    2024 HSC Chat

The best way I practise that is to make up a bunch of practise questions (assuming that my teacher's haven't given me ones already, if they have then just use those) and then do a practise exam - or at least plan out to a bunch of different questions how you would adapt your essay if you don't...

Discursive Writing Piece - Year 11 (feedback and advice)

Personally I really like your piece, the main thing I picked up on that I think your markers might mean is that you have all these ideas and metaphors that you can branch off of, extend, and make them lead to an even more wholistic message, but often you don't. It sort of gets to the point where...

What do I include in a Standard Maths Cheat Sheet?

Absolutely, the wording is definitely the trickiest part! Yeah that's fair enough, you don't want to spend half your exam searching through a cheat sheet! Thank you, and you too!

    Edrolo

Because I do distance education for maths it's basically the main way I learn new content, and I find it to be really useful. There are interactive parts which is good too. Watch it on 2x speed though unless you're having a lot of trouble understanding the content. Definitely give it a shot.

    maths adv

i always write notes in the form of a basic outline of the concept and some worked examples that i can refer back to whenever i get stuck on a question, but everyone remembers and studies for maths differently

What do I include in a Standard Maths Cheat Sheet?

hiii, i do standard maths as well and while i find it pretty easy, often i'll blank in exams. I prefer to have worked examples on my cheat sheet or a simple step-by-step of how to do something so that if i panic or keep second guessing myself then i have a really easy way to take myself through...

Class of 2025 (2025 HSC CHAT)

agreed, wait till your first assessments are over and see how you manage your time before you even think about what to drop, and dont make any final decisions until your year 11 finals (unless you're like 100 percent sure)

    silly mistakes

Lots. Of. Practise. Papers. Over and over. In exam conditions. Redo questions you get wrong. Pay attention to what you're doing. Underline key parts of the question. Etc. Etc. The good thing about silly mistakes is that they're fixable. It just takes practice.
