    Diploma of Languages

Thanks for that, but I meant I couldn't find them on campus.

    Tennis - G.O.A.T - Federer vs Laver

Roger Federer no doubt as the greatest. I think there is little room for dispute there, though some discussion is interesting. I think Djokovic may prove to becoming one of the best - if he is able to replicate his career statistics. He had an unparalleled year last season, winning the greatest...

    Diploma of Languages

Same here. I suggest you to join the Nippon Students' Association in UNSW as you can meet many japanese students that are either Japanese-Australian or international students. I'm trying to join the Korean Students' Association, but I can't seem to find them. Try asking them about a possible...

    Roland Garros (French Open)

WAY, WAY, WAY too predictable, but it keeps the rivalry unbelievably interesting.

    Roland Garros (French Open)

Of course, but when these ladies are good, in particular, Azarenka and Stosur - they are good. Stosur is definitely inconsistent and flaky, but when her games is on, she hits the nail on the head. Her unforced errors aren't extremely high and her forehand winners are perfect. She really showed...

Transferring into courses with higher cut-off than my own ATAR

Don't do law out of recommendation. It's a tough course, even for those with passion. Do it because you genuinely want to.

    The Legend of Korra

I LOVE IT. Seriously, ALTA is perhaps one of my favourite shows, even 6-7 years down the track. I still find it funny and the new spin off has not disappointed me. I re-watched all three seasons in its entirety and I still find the same things amusing, despite the fact that it has been almost 7...

    Ambition?

Yes, Yes and sort of. I think I'm really ambitious. I will do whatever it takes to get a stable job with a nice salary. I think it's inherent for people to desire for financial security, but I wan't to live a very nice life, eat nice things, have nice things etc. Chances of that happening...

    Diploma of Languages

I study a language at UNSW as part of my International Studies degree, but I am not doing my diploma. It's demanding as they expect you to keep up every week. As for me, I find it difficult to improve on speaking due to the mere fact that I don't have korean friends nor am I korean. So there's a...

    it's week 5 already...

So much more different to high school. Though I've adjusted much better.

    Cambridge/Oxford Law

Our legal system is quite similar to Britain. After all, the greatest majority of our legal principles are derivative from the UK. On to the point, if you studied in the UK, I don't think it would be any disadvantage to you when wanting to practice law, when you return to Australia. So long as...

Do state rankers usually get tutoring?

Tutoring is such a waste of money. Every now and then is okay. Imo, if it's continuous I think it's a waste of money.

    Uni getting faster and faster!

    I know right.

How hard is it to attain a HSC mark of 97+ in Ancient History?

It's pretty strenuous work. Like any subject, consistent study of content is needed. I didn't come first internally (I came second) and I received 96 as a final mark. That was the highest overall mark in my school (that was ranked 499). I think that's a pretty good feat for a weak school. But...

Hayabusabostons subject results so far, for those interested

It's just preliminary and it's just the HSC. I wish there was someone to tell me that you shouldn't use up all your blood, sweat and tears for a 4 digit rank. Just try your best and don't worry so much about it - so long as you get into your course. PS: Congrats on your maths mark.

    Roland Garros (French Open)

Completely agree, though I must admit Djokovic is on fire in terms of the slams. At times, it appears that he wont make it (e.g. the Nadal Final and the Murray SF), but he ends up victorious. He will definitely give Nadal a run for his money again if he makes it to the finals of the french.

    1st year court report

My lecturer said it was a "sociological and anthropological analysis" on your observations. She says it's not suppose to be difficult.

    UWS Law - New opinions?

How did you get into a program like that? I wouldn't mind doing things of that sort. Good for the experience.
