geography is only boring in years 9 and 10. i encourage you guys to pick geo or tell younger people to. its really interesting in 11 and 12 and easy to get good marks but doesn't scale you down much

geo is easy. although you have to do two case studies plus the content they are all integrated in terms of what you have to learn. and often, the threats that place them as ecosystems at risk are similar or the same. i'd imagine it would be the same for the other core topics. and the skills...

I'd drop it, especially seeing as your doing worst in it and it's tkaing time away from your other subjects that you're going really well in. You just have to be sure that you want to drop it and that you won't regret it, or screw up in your other subjects. But, it looks like you're doing...

just because they're smart doesn't mean that the will apply their knowledge. it's more about the work ethic, rather than having an IQ 145, as you can be lazy as ever = bad results

Re: Tutor fees/rates i'd say somewhere closer to $30/hr. a good tutor won't charge you too much, they're not about the money. It's possible you could find someone on here that did jap for their hsc
