I highly prefer doing my notes daily or if not, within 3 days. But ofc, quality/quantity and sometimes I ditch notes if there are better things to do. Tbh, u don't get assessed on how good your notes are

keep japanese, I regret not continuing and listening to my parents who kept whining that it's "such a useless subject". Do it for me :haha: jokes, but I think jap is more worthwhile

although writing makes u memorise better, as long as you get the content inside your head it makes no difference lol i type 80% of my notes and write 20% -> i handwrite my notes the day before minor exams e.g. only focusing on one topic, because there's not much to write and it's a great way to...

me too :) but I've heard that the topics get harder lol I'm half considering ceeb-sing out of 4U for the extra free periods but I'm kind of interested in trying it out :lol:

lol for me: trig = watched all sorts of videos on youtube becoz I wasn't satisfied with the way my teacher explained it, then did a few questions - nailed this topic in the exam parametrics = attempted to do so many exercises in a short period of time without really understanding... ended up...

definitely this. I used to race through all my maths hw thinking that I'd be really good once i finished everything but it doesn't work that way. Understanding the concept is always the most important thing

don't let negativity and lack of motivation get the better of you, use it to completely turn your marks around

i think you need to put it behind and move on. My half-yearly marks in yr 11 were not-so-great but instead of feeling discouraged, I used it as motivation to smash the yearlies.

tbh, the more you stress about it, the more un-focused you become, directly leading to actual failure. Are you aiming for a high ATAR?
