    Getting sick during the HSC

I dunno, in my opinion its a dumb rule, students should be rewarded for studying more anyway, why hold them back. Yeah my mum lets me skip school whenever I want, it seems retarded but she trusts that I know whats best for myself, and sometimes wagging school to study does help especially on...

    Getting sick during the HSC

Our school forbids us to be away 2 weeks before an exam unless its a legitimate medical problem. They fear that we wag school to study at home and that gives us a leading edge making it unfair for the other students having to waste 6 hours at school doing revision. Yeah I sometimes do force...

    Which field?

I've always liked science as a subject (except biology, hate that so much) so this of course fuels my interest into getting into a university degree which contains such content including phys chem or math. The thing is looking at the cut-offs there are so many different pathways such as mecha...

Was this person selfish or not

Because he had already gotten a scholarship which didn't require his chem mark, his other internal marks were brilliant as well, he was guaranteed a 99, there was no reason for his HSC mark for chem to be in the high band 6's. I'm just saying this as a scenario, sorry if you guys really thought...

    MCQ question - help

I don't think its A, all the answers end with, "WITHIN THE LOOP", if you were taking lenz's law into account then it should produce a magnetic field which opposes the motion of the change of shape in coil, so it should repel Earth's south pole, so if a magnetic field detector was used in that...

    MCQ question - help

If the answer is B all i can think of is eddy currents, its a loop of wire so if you move it within a magnetic field it'll produce eddy currents within the loop of wire, the eddy currents itself generate a magnetic field, causing the detector to detect the magnetic field coming out from earth...

Does anyone in here go to Alexandria Park Community School?

Getting a 99 in that school is hard, that means the two that got it were extremely hard working, not saying that anyone else who got 99 isn't but considering they were in such a small cohort i guess they didn't let the fact that they were acing everything blind them from consistency. Nah i'm...

Does anyone in here go to Alexandria Park Community School?

Does anyone in here go to Alexandria Park Community School?

If you're looking to join, its in Redfern about a 10 minute walk from the station, its a pseudo selective school and its not that popular, my friend's selective cohort had 30 people in it lol, i guess its perks are you're pretty much mates with your whole cohort so none of that hiding notes from...

Was this person selfish or not

A mate and i were discussing about whether this person was an asshole or not He is an ex year 12 from last year who came 1st in chem, a very smart guy who could easily get 99.xx, in the externals he bombed out and got below what he was expected, i don't talk to this guy and nor does my friend...

Is it easy getting an atar above 90?

depends on school, in selective schools your conditioned to think high 90s are hard and that getting 90+ is expected of you. and i dont think natural talent is influential, its purely how much you work, hsc is about time management not IQ
