Essentially all said in the title. If I'm not coming first a) is it still possible to state rank? b) is it significantly harder (assuming the people that are beating me are very close to state rank if not state rank)?

I am looking at universities that offer BSc(advanced maths) and I am unsure of which is the best. University of Sydney having a significantly higher ATAR cut off than UNSW makes me wonder if their is any reason for this. Cheers for assistance.

yeah I agree here. Particularly, I look for short run, long run, structural and cyclical. this frequently becomes the foundation for my essay.
