i said sum of roots, this is the 1+z^1+z^2... equation as it is equivalent to the fraction on LHS.

For part C if you want a truly quick solution, -sub in 'i' into the RHS of (b), you get product of roots as z^2 and 1 cancel out, do this to the sum of roots on LHS. -sub in '1' into RHS of (b), expand the brackets and u get sum of roots, do this to the sum of roots on LHS.

    HSC Maths

If your son takes ext 2 maths, he will have 4 units that will scale well, assuming he also does well in ext 1. If he takes Advanced and ext 1 only it will only be 3 units meaning he will need to take an additional extension course in some other subject or he takes another 2 unit course to reach...

How to catch up to year 11 advanced math?

i would suggest briefly skimming over the chapter reviews in cambridge from the year 9/10 textbooks. This should give you a good indication to what you will need to improve on as year 11 advanced maths is just year 9/10 plus a couple new topics.

How to catch up to year 11 advanced math?

If you missed topics from year 10 i wouldn't really worry as they are retaught, however, if you missed topics year 9 and below i would revise those topics again.

Handwriting - Is mine legible/acceptable for exams?

If you just fix up the angle should be fine, it's probs cause you tilt your paper when writing but is an easy fix nonetheless.

Fg between earth and the moon radius?

10^8 is a lot (stressing the word a lot) smaller than 10^20, so adding these numbers will be as useful as having just 10^20.

Why do some teachers say scaling doesn’t exist

over the course of my senior and junior years of high school I have heard many teacher say that scaling doesn’t exist or doesn’t matter when choosing courses. Why would a teacher (presumably intentionally) say that scaling doesn’t exist when they are putting students at a disadvantage and what...

    need help!

3 of the tickets drawn out will win prizes, so the 1 raffle ticket that sue has will need to be apart of the 97 and 1 raffle ticket will need to be apart of the 3. ofc u have to factor in position drawn and order drawn.

High atar with only 10 units??

i have heard this a lot as well, i dont think it matters if u do 10 or 12 units, when ppl say that the high atar students do 12 units it is probably because they half study/bludge their 11/12th unit. just my opinion.
