That's a little odd (if I'm allowed to say so). You're essentially saying that the amount of evidence required to support a claim with low probability should actually depend upon the impact of a claim on a society/individual? So, essentially, the amount of evidence required is completely...

And on a side note, there is substantial reason based on physical science as to why one would believe in the existence of a God.

Why are you so obsessed with this notion of 'proof', as if something should only be believed if we can prove it using the scientific method? (Surely you don't actually believe this, yes?)

Yes. The only thing that the Board of Studies actually pays attention to (when they receive the marks that your school has submitted) is the distribution of raw internal marks (i.e., the ranks, and the spacing between the ranks).

Such as? And besides, how do you define 'proof'? Is it not reasonable to make arguments based off ideas/statements which are more than likely true (but can never be 'proven')?
