Ostensibly THE BIGGEST SCAM IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND

This video has been circulating the internet recently, spreading out to all social media outlets. It's going viral. The problem with the video is its hidden agenda: selling gold and silver. Whoever produced the video is trying to get viewers to invest so that they, the company, can make a...

    The Piracy "Problem"

I don't advocate piracy, but it's interesting to see who piracy affects. Most artists don't make much money when you buy their CD's or MP3's off iTunes. A lot of it goes to the big labels. Ironically, many artists have said that piracy has helped promote their name and reach a wider audience...

TO ALL PROCRASTINATORS (2014'ers and beyond)

Yeah, I did the reclassify request but they haven't got back to me yet. I'm pretty sure it's a false positive. If you have any tech skills, could you try finding any malware/viruses on my site?

    Need motivation

I do both. Chemistry MC is never that bad. Either you know it or you don't. And calculations are never that bad (do 4U Maths). As for physics, I never study for it, haha. But I seem to be doing the best in it out of the rest of my subjects from school assessments. Guess it comes naturally for...

    Need motivation

For studying, multiple choice is fun. Writing notes is a bit monotonous and so is doing long questions. Multiple doesn't require much thinking and is just a lot less tiring than other forms of studying. Multiple choice isn't fun in the grander scheme of things, but for studying, it sure is.

    Need motivation

It really depends on what your remaining exams are. For most people, the hardest exams were English and Maths which require a decent amount of study. If all you have left is science - like me - then you shouldn't feel too bad about slacking off. For science, you can just print out past HSC...

    Study/Motivation Tips

Posted this in the 2014 forum, but I think it'll be useful for you guys as well. "Hey 2014'ers (and 2014+'ers), so you're reached your final year(s) of high school and maybe you're feeling a bit anxious about the upcoming year(s). Lots of work to do? Daunting ATAR aims? Well, I guess the...

TO ALL PROCRASTINATORS (2014'ers and beyond)

How do I fix that? I'm pretty sure there's no malware/suspicious scripts on the site. When I run it through this virus scanner https://www.virustotal.com/#url the only site that detects anything is trendmicro. Tried it on google as well, and it was clean.

TO ALL PROCRASTINATORS (2014'ers and beyond)

Hey 2014'ers (and 2014+'ers), so you're reached your final year of high school and maybe you're feeling a bit anxious about the upcoming year. Lots of work to do? Daunting ATAR aims? Well, I guess the biggest thing stopping you from studying and getting the results you want is...

    Am I wasting time?

I think textbooks are a great way to learn new concepts and practice different methods. Once you've built a decent foundation, tackle past papers or challenge questions given by your teacher. Rather than trying to prepare for every question, learn how to use what you've learnt in the textbook as...

    HSC Headstart

The early years of high school are meant to build a foundation of skills for your HSC years. In Year 12, you're never tested on what you've learnt in the junior years but that doesn't mean putting in the early effort is useless. Build your skills up. It won't even take up much of your time...

    Handwriting!

I always thought they had a strict schedule they had to adhere to. They would be forced to stay overtime if they're behind or something like that. To 'kim', don't worry. My handwriting was way worse than yours in English exam. Thought I was going to run out of time, so I wrote extra fast. Ended...

    HSC Exam Shenanigans

Wow, seems that everybody that goes to my school posts on here. Unless it's common practice for students to throw shoes into the air after an exam...

    All Nighter for Modules

Always used to listen to this. Even when I'm not studying. Been listening to this a lot recently:

    All Nighter for Modules

If you really want to do the best you can, get some decent sleep tonight. Then have some control and study the morning before the exam. Study at home. Study at school. It doesn't matter. Just get some rest to clear your mind. Not having the self control to stop yourself from getting distracted...

General Thoughts: English Paper 1 (AOS)

Really wanted them to say "at least ONE RELATED TEXT" Had to make up a paragraph for my first related. Short responses weren't too bad, but then again, I'm terrible at them. Just shoved in the stimulus at the end of my creative.
