Yeah, that's probably what they were doing but by no means was I trying to say that it's better than all the rest. It seems like you either go to trinity or newington since you said you're in the same boat but i may be wrong. Good luck to you too.

why not try both of them so you can keep your options open in the beginning or throughout year 11 and if you find one that you particularly don't like/too hard/irrelevant then drop it?

bold part: you do realise that you can still try for a public selective school in year 8 and 9 ... I have a couple of friends who transferred in year 9 and 8 so if you really have this concern with the system of private schools I'm sure your daughter won't have trouble switching back judging...

I think it really depends what you want to get out of the tutoring sessions because from personal experience colleges tend to get you ahead of the topics and allows you to see the competition you're up against whilst private tutoring aids you with particular things you need help with. hope that...
