people who know nothing about medicine ^ Most rural areas actually have better GP coverage than city ones, because so many international doctors have to work there (10 years, as part of reg). Real problem is in outer city places.

the last thing you want to do after working 6 years of med school is to be shipped off to become a gp in some rural area. It has to be rural...so RA3-5, which, no offense, is terrible. It restricts your speciality it's hard to get back into the city if thats what you want the penalty for...
