Not to freak you out: but I fail this exam lol. I then went on to do 5th grade 6 months later and got a B+ That being said there is no said "mark" hence why I failed. It is very much like english - extremely subjective marking. Just play your best and you'll be fine.

So I've never seen a HSC booklet, whats the deal with the size compared to A4. Teachers keep saying I should be writing around 4 A4 pages: how many is this in booklet pages?

I've been getting around 74-76, haven't cracked 80 yet :( my closest is 79. For me its usually binomial/motion

This same topic came up last year. Like the other have said, they can't stop you, only advise you. If they try to, you can call the board of studies, like someone did, and their school had to let them.

you have to be prepared to work with partially abstract ideas, which you have not seen before. This means you need to know the core fundamentals of each topic to fully understand the course. This coupled with the fact that there are many extra topics just featured in extension one.

My parents have high expectations of me but they don't voice it, their way of trying not to pressure me. I find this much more pressure than if they just told me what mark they want me to get. I also got the "we just want you to be happy" speech.

Apart from all the rah rah rah it varies for all individuals (the it's all relative argument), you should consider if you hadn't learnt anything about the course. For example if you were to sit a general maths exam, chances are you'd get at least some marks, no matter who you were purely because...

I have lost 10kg since beginning of yr 11.... somehow I find it easier to lose weight in the holidays.... It doesn't make sense >.<

My only issue is Physics and Geography on the 4th :( I could have had two exams in one day with any other combination and I would have been fine. It just has to be these two.
