    Section I: Multiple Choice

Are you even sure you'll get 100% for everything else though, the way some q's were made makes it easy to make the marking kind of anal.

    Your q19 was wrong

HSC Physics - Exam Paper (download)

    I dunno, prob 78-82.

HSC Physics - Exam Paper (download)

    Looks harder than last years.

    Section I: Multiple Choice

Re: HSC Physics - Exam Paper (download) Q30 was nice if i'm interpreting it correctly. Use conservation of momentum/ change in GPE to KE vvs. Looked like a fair exam (in comparison to the chem/MX2/MX1 lmao).

    Really confused

Was referring more to Astroman and ashgar.

    General Thoughts: Mathematics Extension 1

nah 59/70 will most likely be 90-93. The aligned marks change quite drastically compared to 4u. Every raw mark or 2 will raise your exam mark by like 1-2. Then again, this years exam was really easy.
  9. Librah

    E4 Raw Mark

    Probably 91-92
  10. Librah

    General Thoughts: Mathematics Extension 1

Might've been a harder paper if they didn't hold your hand in every question

    Wave function and potential wells

Re: HSC Physics Marathon 2015 I'm thinking of just skipping the quantum sections in our finals lmao
  12. Librah

    Wave function and potential wells

Re: HSC Physics Marathon 2015 There's no uni physics thread so i just decided to put it in here cause didn't want to make a seperate thread lol

    Wave function and potential wells

Can any1 explain where they got the values of the energies for the finite well below U_0? E_1-IDW is the energy of the ground state for an infinite well.
  14. Librah

Will you stay on BoS after your HSC?

    Let's start a 15'ers fb chat lmao

  17. Librah

    General thoughts: HSC chemistry 2015

Why was that worth 4 marks? 3(0.1)(0.025)/0.0415=0.181 M

    General thoughts: HSC chemistry 2015

Lmao tbh i'm sick of doing HSC chem, just wait for BOSTES to post solutions.

    General thoughts: HSC chemistry 2015

Apparently a dimer is considered a polymer of degree 2, even if it's formed from two dissimilar monomers that make it.

    General thoughts: HSC chemistry 2015

I just decidied to do a wiki search, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimer_(chemistry). Answer is probably in fact B for q11.
