Lol my school pretty much is the same. We have less than 10 people in the 2U class and like 6 3U classes rn, and they're expecting pretty much half the grade to do 4U next year.

we start in term 4 which is technically year 12, and i think the same goes for syd boys. i do know that Ruse starts early though

Spiralflex, I think you've kind of put selective schools on a pedestal that they really shouldn't be on :L I go to syd girls and i can tell you right now that besides the last point being partially true, everything else is false for sydney boys lol

mine are mid term 2 I think, so not stressed yet. but good luck to those with exams this term!

i've got friends doing 3 sciences as well and they seem to be handling it pretty well. keep in mind that you do get more exams though, since you have prac exams as well as theory :)

i've got 13 units right now. but yeah, the board of studies requires you to have a minimum of 12 units in yr 11 :|

I've barely used my laptop at school so far, no one actually has and they're more of a waste of space instead of useful. Plus, they're so heavy.

Adv English: Samson and Delilah (film) and we have to find our own related texts (AOS: Changing Self) Ext English: Emma I did Orwell's 1984 last year, i thought it was a pretty good book :)

They're convenient to take everywhere and type up notes on at school etc. but they really tire out your eyes so consider how long you'd be spending on one if you got it.
