HSC is important, don't just 'screw' the hsc as someone said above. You're 17/18 ATM, plenty of time for things to work out. You can date through HSC, leave it til later, anything, but if you have to get into something with a high atar, you might end up wasting a year or two to get into it if...

During my hsc years: Did I do it all? No Did I do it sometimes? Yes Did I do it if it was compulsory? Yes Was it compulsory most of the times? Hardly ever (never in year 12) How did I learn the concepts? Self study/reading/notes etc...

lol With mine (desktop) the psu died within 6 months, fan died, gpu died lol 2/3 were replaced for free by had to do the gpu myself. Their onsite warranty service at the time wa alright though.

While I do agree with the nice on the Aldi stuff (well I had a P4 which lasted about 4.5 yrs), I don't recommend them. My cousin bought one and it didn't really last long, there are better ones out there.
