    Thoughts on my timetable?

There will be a course information sheet released on the unit webpage here closer to the start of semester. In any case, I just realised the list of lecturers I was referring to is from 2016, so Myerscough may not be taking it this year.

    Thoughts on my timetable?

If you're happy moving your chemistry tutorial to one of the other times listed here, just go to one of the 11am MATH1001 streams. Don't worry about changing it on your timetable. I'd recommend Mary Myerscough's stream if that ends up being at 11.

    USYD Chatter Thread 2016

They might eventually. It's not part of their immediate 2014-2020 infrastructure plans though. In any case, I don't think they'll demolish the Wentworth building; it would be a bit tricky given the amount of non-Union franchises there (Subway, CBA, STA Travel).

I went to Abercrombie for the first time to do an exam last semester. I was very impressed. And it looks like I'll be having regular biology classes there this semester as well. :)

Bridging course for Chem + Bio?

    Usyd timetable

    1. It's really up to your personal preferences. 2. Yes. Even if you do have to hand in assignments on the same day, work handed in earlier frees up your time later on. 3. No. Tutorials are generally a week behind lectures anyway. Put them wherever it suits you. 4. Like I said, build your...

Bridging course for Chem + Bio?

I second what Daemontreu said. The good thing about the chemistry bridging course is that you can also do it externally. It's cheaper, you can complete the course in your own time, and you'll only have to travel into uni once to pick up all of the material.

Is it possible to have 2 Majors and a Minor?

Officially, you cannot do minors at USYD. If you wish to organise what is the equivalent of a minor within your study load you will have to do so unofficially. Read the handbook and you should be able to plan out what you want to study.

Advanced science subjects for 2nd year

Normally you would be able to do junior subjects in your 2nd and 3rd year, or intermediate subjects in your 3rd year, if you so desired. Provided you are not contravening your course requirements, you would have complete freedom to pick whatever subjects you want. However, the BSc(Adv) only...

BUSS1030 does teach accounting methods; pretty much all theoretical concepts have activities associated with it. Besides, it's the only introductory accounting unit available to you at this time.

    subject scaling/WAM boosters?

There is no scaling for science subjects. So you're better off doing the streams that reflect your high school background. There are a few WAM boosters in the Arts faculty but you probably won't be able to find a lot of room for it with your the majors you are doing. Also, the WAM requirement...

    Enrolling in BUSS2000?

You won't be able to select your units for 2018 until next year.

    Easy Maths subjects

Well seeing as the three subjects you have chosen are from three different streams, I think the relative difficulty of each subject is rather self explanatory. Nevertheless, it's best to stick to the streams that reflect your level of high school mathematics. They recommend them for a reason...

thoughts on my units of study for B Psych?

Alright, looks like the psychology major is embedded and they are forcing you to do a non-psychology major. Which is odd, because there's nothing to indicate anywhere else that science stream students have to pick another science major. I can't enrol in my BPsych until I've finished Summer...

Major/units of study for B Psych?

You could make an academic advisor appointment if you really wanted to. But you should be able to find everything you need in the handbook. Look at the majors you want to do and units you need, and if you have any electives, have a read of the unit descriptions and see if they interest you.

thoughts on my units of study for B Psych?

If your second major is neuroscience then you will definitely have to do BIOL1003 and BIOL1007 instead of physics. It will save you having to worry about prerequisites in your second and third years.
  18. Amleops

Major/units of study for B Psych?

Your major will be psychology. It isn't compulsory for those in the science stream to do a second major, but you could certainly fit one in if you wanted to. As for your unit choices, apart from psychology and maths, just pick whatever you are interested in. All of the degree requirements and...

    Transferring with a combined degree

If you have completed the equivalent of 1 year full time study (eight subjects) then they will take the WAM of all of the subjects you have done, irrespective of what degrees they were in. If that doesn't play to your advantage then just wait until you graduate and do a JD afterwards.

    B. Psychology

It is assumed knowledge, not a prerequisite. So if you get the ATAR, you'll get in. Do you want to do the Science or Arts stream?
