past paper books are kinda not that good, you just look them up online. There are always solutions and ahmad shahs notes to look over when u get a question wrong.

For chemistry, its crucial you look at Ahmad Shah's notes.

Last year someone got 97 in chem (exam mark 96, assessment 98) and stateranked. Their raw mark was 91. If you get 95 then you are definitely state ranking I think.

If u wrote about how they responded to influences in some coherent way with case studies, relevant business terminology and good structure I think you could get 12/20 or even higher. The question didn't specify strategies so I'm sure if you addressed it some other way they might generously give...

Definitely sociocultural... literally the textbook includes someone's income as part of their social cultural environment. As someone being poor isnt really because of a change in monetary or fiscal policy or recession etc, its not economic.

Ancient is more memorization than econ. Economics is more about drawing connections between things, like x change in imports leads to y change in currency. But yes econ does have a degree of memorization to it, as does every subject.

Chem is decently easy to self teach, just need someone (could be BOS, a tutor, head teacher) to be able to answer any questions you have. Get your hands on Ahmad Shah's chem notes they are amazing. With them + past papers its easy to get 90+ if you have the drive, which I hope a future med...
