yeah the cuts are pretty bad, we visted a couple of woolies and a couple of coles and there were barely any workers about to annoy and ask to join our union hah

budgets are fucked yo i imagine even more than usual based on the amount of recostings we've been needed to do (ironic as all the recostings means i've been getting more office hours to cover for the sso who is too busy recosting everything to do the work that is actually important, so we're...

There was apparently some sort of inquiry into penalty rates and stuff happening and I was told they're probably not going to commit to anything until after that's resolved. I'm keen on this new union, but I have to actually organise paying for it because it won't come automatically out of my pay.

talk to them when they aren't too busy, something like 'about that roster, i won't agree to it, it's not giving me the right amount of days off in a row according to the agreement, also i think you guys have been changing my roster a bit too frequently. which is also against the agreement.' if...

    The Woolworths Thread

also have handy "4.5.2 The Company will not frequently vary the employee's roster" i don't know exactly how they would define 'frequent' if you're in the union (you should be if they're messing your roster around like this) then someone there might be able to say whether this applies to your...
